About Berkley Community Access TV

Berkley's current (and only) cable service provider is Comcast. The Community Bulletin Board is an electronic "Character Generator," which can accommodate JPEG images and flash animation. We now provide: 1. Automated Playback of pre-recorded programs. 2. Information on upcoming town meetings. 3. Weather and temperature notices. The Cable Television Advisory Committee's primary function is to: 1. Help to negotiate cable licensing agreement with the Town. 2. Help provide/oversee programming for school (education access), town government, and public access. 3. Oversee/manage budget (from cable provider). 4. Oversee Public Access Studio. Video on Demand recordings can be saved to viewer's computer by installing Google Chrome browser. Right click on the video, and choose "download" or "save video as." Otherwise, residents may request recordings of meetings for a fee of $20.00 per recording. Requests for Publishing Notices on Channels 95 and 96 Community Bulletin Board can presently be sent by email to: BerkleyCAS.info@gmail.com or by mail to: Berkley Cable TV, 1 North Main Street Berkley, MA 02779. Notices must be received at least two weeks prior to the scheduled event.
